FIG 2026: SILENCE, BEAUTY, AND JUSTICE
We believe we are living in a critical cultural moment marked by fragmentation, despair, and a profound hunger for re-enchantment. In response, IAMCultureCare’s Fujimura Institute is creating a unique gathering on the theme of “Silence, Beauty, and Justice”.
This will be more than a conference. We envision a cultural tabernacle — a temporary, sacred space of encounter in the wilderness. In an intimate setting, we will gather artists, theologians, pastors from contexts of persecution, and thoughtfully invited guests to lament, comfort, dream, and feast together. To create this environment, the 2026 Fujimura Institute Gathering (FIG) is necessarily by invitation only, but following the in-person event we will be publishing resources created at FIG for our wider community.
